Hey there Rabbit Horde… This is a very important update for everyone actively playing the game. In this update, we are going to cover substantial and notable changes coming this week for Greenprint Crafting.

A very important note right up front, there will be no crafting competitions for this week, starting at 00:00 UTC tonight as we roll into Sunday. We are suspending them for a week as we intend to roll out the changes outlined below, mid week and do not want to affect the competitions mid-week.

So… Let’s get started on what these changes will be! LFG!!

Greenprint Crafting Overall Changes

The team and more importantly our Tokenomics WIZARD, Stersmerlin, have been working on an entire update to the Greenprint crafting. In what way you ask? Well, Number of Attempts per day, Success Rates AND the Base/SPU costs associated with the attempts.

Stersmerlin has been working hard on this in order to pre-empt the release and requirements for the Materials Foraging Missions. If you have not read about the missions and their requirements, we would recommend to read the last few Green Rabbit Medium publications we have released that have many details around this, starting right here.

4-Component Crafting

Let’s start with the base costs for 4-Component crafting. Historically, our crafting costs have been based off the staking power of the NFT(s) used in the craft. With the changes coming mid next week, you will see this moved to more of a fixed cost model. The base costs for 4-Component crafting will be as follows:

As you can see by the table above, there is a fixed price now per NFT based on the rarity, that is used in the attempts. Here are a couple of examples to help your understanding.

If you use 4 common NFTs:

625 + 625 + 625 + 625 = 2,500 Shell for the base cost

If you use 1 common, 2 uncommon & 1 Epic:

625 + 2,625 + 2,625 + 11,156.25 = 17,031.25 Shell for the base cost

The next three big items are the number of attempts per day, the SPU costs, as well as the awarded bonus range potential for each attempt. We have laid all of these out in the 4-Component table below:

SPU Calculation: SPU Multiplier * Base Cost (by NFT) * (Craft Attempt — 1)

As you can see, we will be increasing the daily attempts on 4-C crafting, to 15 per 24 hour period. What goes along with this is a much more predictable SPU cost per attempt as per the table above. We have also tweaked the bonus range probabilities in order to align with this many attempts.

The SPU Multiplier above, shows the multiplier of the base that is then used for each increment of the SPU. On commons, 20% of the base Shell cost would be 125 Shell, therefore, starting on the second attempt, for each Common used, the SPU will increase by 125 Shell. (i.e. 125 Shell per common on attempt 1, 250 Shell on attempt 2, etc…)

The final bit to notice in the table above is the last column. This outlines the Success Rate Probabilities, per attempt. These are increasing notably. Why you ask? With Materials Foraging Mission requirements coming, Rabbits are going to require more Greenprints, in order to make more Greenprint Fusion attempts, in order to acquire more Ascendant Orbs, so that Foragers can be leveled up.

3D Figure Crafting

3D Figure crafting is also experiencing changes in all of the same areas. One thing additional we have done, is broken it out by 3D Figure rarity type. So you will see clear differences for each rarity used.

We will start laying this out in the same way as above, by showing the base Shell cost table, followed by a break down per rarity type of the 3D figure being used:

SPU Calculation: SPU Multiplier * Base Cost * (Craft Attempt — 1)

As you can see, this is a notable craft attempt fixed rate, compared to the substantially higher rate that was previously calculated off of the staking power of the 3D Figure. This brings 3D figure crafting rates much more in-line with the 4-C crafting fixed rates. There is also a declining daily attempt number per rarity, starting with the 3D Commons moving through the Mythics. Finally, the SPU multiplier is laid out in this table as well, to reflect the percentage of the base being used to calculate the SPU costs from the second attempt of the day and each subsequent attempt thereafter.

SPU Calculation: SPU Multiplier * Base Cost * (Craft Attempt — 1)
SPU Calculation: SPU Multiplier * Base Cost * (Craft Attempt — 1)
SPU Calculation: SPU Multiplier * Base Cost * (Craft Attempt — 1)
SPU Calculation: SPU Multiplier * Base Cost * (Craft Attempt — 1)
SPU Calculation: SPU Multiplier * Base Cost * (Craft Attempt — 1)

As you can see, we will be increasing the daily attempts on ALL 3D Figure crafting, however the number of attempts per 24 hour period will differ per rarity type. What goes along with this is a much more predictable SPU cost per attempt as per the tables above, just like we saw in the 4-C crafting. We have also tweaked the bonus range probabilities in order to align with this many attempts.

The SPU Multiplier above, shows the multiplier of the base that is then used for each increment of the SPU. On 3D Commons, 7% of the base Shell cost would be 175 Shell, therefore, starting on the second attempt, the SPU will increase by 175 Shell. (i.e. 175 Shell on attempt 1, 350 Shell on attempt 2, etc…)

The final bit to notice in the tables above are the last columns. They outline the Success Rate Probabilities, per attempt. These are increasing notably. Why you ask? With Materials Foraging Mission requirements coming, Rabbits are going to require more Greenprints, in order to make more Greenprint Fusion attempts, in order to acquire more Ascendant Orbs, so that Foragers can be leveled up. We also expect this will assist somewhat, in facilitating the ability to boost Greenprints in preparation for Armor Component crafting when it is released.

NOTE: We also want to remind 3D Figure holders, that for each 3D Figure you hold in your inventory (staked or not), that is NOT ON COOLDOWN and matches the rarity you are crafting with, you will receive an additional 2% success rate, up to the maximum of 10% additional. For example, if you are crafting with a 3D Common figure and you have 2 others that are currently staked and therefore not on cooldown, you will receive an additional 4% added to your success rate. This has always been the case and has been maintained through these changes.

Reminder

Crafting Competitions will be suspended for this week as we anticipate releasing this functionality roughly mid week. We fully expect this to have a positive impact on the gameplay as well as start allowing players to ramp up for their needs when Materials Foraging Missions follow some time shortly after this release.

Thank you for your patience regarding the competitions and these changes. We are very excited to bring them to you and do not forget the big thank you to both Stersmerlin and Pigwig for the heavy lifting to make this all possible.

Be sure to subscribe, there will be more updates coming VERY soon on that you will NOT want to miss. FOR THE HORDE!!!
