With no green print to direct the power of the orb it was impossible to contain. The temple shook from the unbridled power. Pushed beyond its stability by the incomplete process, the orb exploded in a burst of green energy, leveling the entire temple.
The surrounding residents of Paragon City rushed to the scene of this unknown occurrence. Some donned their Anima-Armor to help dig through the disaster. Buried in the terrifying scene they discovered Samil’s family, crushed beneath the Nanore he had smuggled to make his armor, but no traces of Samil himself.
It is said that this blasphemous act caused the power of the orb to physically annihilate Samil, leaving him between existences and turning him into a monstrous wraith that stalks the landscapes of Nanotopia. A hulking, ghastly character, glowing green with the power of the orb. Unable to shed his anger, guilt, and shame, he has been cursed to carry a massive metal symbol made of the Nanore that crushed his family.
