Good Day RABBITS!! As mentioned in our last update, the anticipated game play functionality of Ascendant Orb Fusion is nearly upon us. With Greenprint Boosting being released, Ascendant Orb Fusion will be following TODAY. You can expect to see this functionality released this Saturday morning (PT), October 23rd, 2021.

Note: There is a small update on some other items at the bottom of the article.

This functionality will be VERY similar to that of the Greenprint fusion and the interface will look almost identical. Rather than selecting ten Greenprints though, you will choose five Ascendant Orbs of the same rarity.

Once we have completed the release, all of you will be able to commence with your fusion attempts. Why? So that you can use those Orbs for other purposes, including the attempt to boost the statistics on your best Greenprints! While you can already fuse Greenprints into Orbs, this creates a path for folks to effectively craft Orbs of a higher rarity, even though you may not have the required NFTs to make this happen. The risk is high, however so is the reward!

How does it work?

Just like with Greenprint Fusion, you will click into the Crafting interface. From there, click into the sub tab for, “Orb Fusion”. This will be where you interact to attempt your fusions. You can load five Ascendant Orbs of the same rarity into the interface in order to make your attempt. With this launch, there will be a maximum of two attempts per day. This could likely increase over time as we monitor the fusing and the market of Ascendant Orbs, to ensure it is all balanced.

While selecting your five Ascendant Orbs from the slide-out window, you will first be prompted to choose a rarity type. Upon selection of a rarity, any Ascendant Orbs in your inventory that match that rarity, will be displayed. Click off the five you want to use, or click the “Auto-select” option at the bottom and the first five Orbs will be selected automatically. Click the “Select Orbs” button to move forward.

Once you have made the selection of all five and they have been loaded into the Fusion interface, you will see the Base Shellinium Cost as well as your potential success rate displayed. When you feel you are ready, click that Attempt button and Fuse away! The fusion attempt costs are as follows:

Ascendant Orb Fusion Costs

There are four potential outcomes you will find with the Ascendant Orb Fusion. They are laid out in the table below and then we will expand on them. As always, things will be monitored closely and if these need to be tweaked one way or another for the betterment of the game and the in-game economy, we will absolutely make the changes required.

Ascendant Orb Fusion Potential Outcomes

The outcomes laid out in the table above will result in players having just a nine percent chance of what is deemed a “Complete Failure”. This will see two of the Ascendant Orbs damaged during the Fusion process and the fusion process terminated. The second outcome is a “Sync Failure”. In this instance, all of the players Ascendant Orbs will be returned to them and they can choose if they would like to make an additional attempt.

The third outcome has a thirty percent success rate and will see the player successful in their fusion. The result being, all of the Ascendant Orbs used in the fusion destroyed and one new Ascendant Orb of the next higher rarity being issued to the player. Finally, the fourth outcome known as the “Rare Success”, will see all of the players Ascendant Orbs used in the the fusion destroyed, one new Ascendant Orb of the next higher rarity being issued as well as one Common Ascendant Orb being issued. This is the highest level of success you can achieve in the Orb Fusion.

NOTE: In all potential outcomes, the Shellinium used in the attempt will be consumed.

As mentioned in previous updates, upon successful fusion of your Ascendant Orbs, you will want to hang onto these, they will have multiple purposes in coming game updates. The first use being in GP Boosting, the second one will be in the Materials Foraging gameplay. Both are significant and important uses, so make your decisions wisely!

Greenprint Crafting Attempt Review…

As we had previously mentioned, we have been actively monitoring the Greenprint crafting and available attempts, the crafting activity and the fusing activity. We have decided to trial out adding two additional attempts to 4-Component crafting. There will be no increases at the 3D Figure level at this time, only the 4-Component. This release will go active for Sunday 00:00 UTC which coincides with the same time that the Crafting competitions reset for the week. Once this goes live, we will monitor the situation closely in order to determine if we must make any further changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

General Quality of Life Updates…

Often, as we do releases, we attempt to update various “quality of life” items for the community at the same time. These are usually based on both feedback from the community and observations. We don’t however, often provide updates on these, we simply let you discover them. We have decided to try to point some of these out for you as we move forward. Here are some that were either included in the GP Boosting release, or that will be included in the Orb Fusion release.

Auto-Sort

The Auto-Sort was added, first to GP Fusion. It was set to ensure that non boosted and non bonus stat GPs always appear at the top of the inventory slide-out window. Immediately following those would be non boosted GPs that have bonus stats and finally GPs with boosted stats. The latter two of course, being only if you choose to de-select the check box at the top of the slide-out, that excludes bonus/boosted GPs from the selections.

Non-Bonus, Non-Boosted load prior to Bonus/Boosted GPs in GP Fusion

On GP Boosting, it is much the opposite. The Inventory slide-out will start with Boosted GPs, followed by non boosted GPs with bonus stats, followed by base stat GPs. This is due to the fact that likely most folks will not want to boost a base stat GP unless they have no other options.

Finally, with Orb Fusion, it will simply just show every orb of a given rarity as there are no bonuses or boosts in play here.

Auto-select

The Auto-Select function is specific to GP Fusion and Orb Fusion. We have added this option down at the bottom of the Inventory slide-out windows, immediately to the left of the “Select…” button. The purpose? For those who want to just take the first 10 GPs or first 5 Orbs and fuse with them, you can click this link and they will automatically select them for you. Therefore, you could just click that link and then the Select button and proceed with your Fusion attempt.

Auto-select option for choosing first 10 GPs (or first 5 Orbs) in the Fusion interfaces

Note: This will take the first 10 GPs or the first 5 Orbs showing in your window. Be sure to review them before moving forward with your Fusion attempt, so you don’t accidentally Fuse something you want to keep. Once they are gone…. They are gone!

Inventory Refresh

Another addition on the Inventory slide-out windows is the refresh option. We have added this, for those who might have perhaps acquired additional inventory items and want them to show up in the inventory slide-out, without having to refresh and reload the entire game interface.

Inventory Refresh option at top of screen next to slide-out header

So for example, if you went and bought some GPs off the secondary market while you were in the middle of GP Fusion, you could open your slide-out window and click the refresh link at the very top next to the Inventory Header. This will refresh just the Inventory slide-out for you nice and quickly.

“On Cooldown” Staking Counter

On the staking page, we wanted to make it visible, how many assets you might have that are currently not staked and are on cooldown. This was something we did not even display previously.

New On-Cooldown option visible on main staking page.

It is now visible on the main staking page so that you can quickly check in one place, how many, if any, assets you have on cooldown.

Mobile Scrolling Crafting Tabs

This was a quality of life update to the Mobile interface for the game, when playing through a mobile browser. There were some challenges with leveraging the crafting tabs on mobile and we have improved this, by making them scrollable.

Mobile Header

Another update we added to Mobile quality of life, was the overlapping header concerns where elements from the header, were layering over each other. We have not tested this on EVERY browser and OS version for every handset available. That would take days and days. However we have tested on a number of modern versions and feel it should be much better than it was.

Update “Detector”

Due to the fact that we release big and small releases/updates to the game, we wanted to be sure that those who perhaps are not aware, due to not being in the discord, or due to it being small patch we release unannounced, were informed. This will occur by an Update Detector window appearing in the top right hand corner of your screen while you are logged into the game. If you ever receive this, we highly recommend that you hit the Update and Refresh button that appears with the message, in order to ensure you are playing in the most current version and so you do not run into any challenges with something not functioning, in the interface you are using.

GP Crafting Default-Filter

We had introduced rarity filters to the GP Crafting Inventory slide-out for 3D Figure crafting. What this then required, was for folks to choose a rarity before any assets were displayed. Once you had chosen a rarity, it would filter down the assets as well as load a rarity filter at the top of the screen in case you decided you wanted to view another rarity instead. With this small change, it just simply loads all rarity types by default and automatically loads the rarity filter in the top left so that you can choose between rarities directly from there.

There were other small tweaks and changes here and there, however these were the dominant ones we wanted to point out. Thank you for all of your feedback as we work together to constantly improve the game experience. We hope you enjoy the changes!

So Rabbits, go get your “fuse on” and start ascending the ranks of the most boosted Greenprint available! Stay tuned for more updates coming VERY soon. As always, FOR THE HORDE!! Now LFG!!
